"Apollo" from the Ocone winery is an Aglianico from Taburno dedicated to the homonymous Greco-Roman deity. After a brief passage in barrique and a resting period in bottle, it presents in the glass with fine and elegant aromas of blueberries, blackberries, and vanilla with slightly toasted notes. The sip is of excellent craftsmanship, enveloping and with a nice acidic backbone
“Apollo” from the Ocone winery is the typical red of Sannio, a child of the Taburno territory, which gives deep and austere wines. In the glass, it has a very intense ruby red color. The olfactory profile expresses aromas of blackberries, blueberries, small dark berry fruits, hints of underbrush, notes of vanilla, spices, and toasted nuances. On the palate, it has body and important structure, with dense and persistent aromas, a tight tannic texture, and a pleasantly refreshing finish.

The harvest takes place in the second half of October and after destemming and crushing, the must is fermented at controlled temperature, with a maceration on the skins of about 10 days.
