Ruinart is one of the most important names within the realm of Champagne, a true symbol of the world's most renowned region for the production of fine sparkling wines. The history of this globally celebrated maison is legendary, dating back to the 17th century when the Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart (1657-1709) noticed the high demand for wines from his region across Europe. He began collaborating with Abbot Dom Perignon, from whom he learned the secrets of the Champagne method. It was his nephew Nicolas, in 1729, who founded Maison Ruinart, holding the record as the oldest Champagne house. After nearly three centuries of history, this maison has managed to maintain its top positions, combining pride and tradition with unparalleled quality. Its name holds a prominent place in the legend of the greatest and most prestigious bottles, ranking at the forefront of international excellence.

Ruinart Champagnes are grand expressions rooted in ancient traditions and savoir-faire, never failing to meet expectations. The strength of their production lies undoubtedly in the Chardonnay grape, the very soul of the maison. These white grapes, mainly sourced from Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, are the focal point of all cuvées, imparting great freshness, aromatic exuberance, vivacity, purity, and luminosity to the production. Chardonnay serves as the common thread through all the blends created by the house, providing the foundation for exceptional expressions. Vinification includes the implementation of malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and the aging takes place in extensive cellars carved into the Gallo-Roman chalk, deemed a National Monument since 1931.

Ruinart Champagne bottles are recognizable by their fresh, slender, and traditional style, thanks in part to the skill of the talented Chef de Cave Frédéric Panaïotis. From the renowned R to the precious Dom Ruinart vintage, passing through the paradigmatic Blanc de Blancs, each sip signed by this famous and historic maison equates to a fascinating journey through the centuries-old history of Champagne.
