The Aglianico del Vulture Superiore Riserva 'Campo Melograno' from Regio Cantina comes from the Melograno vineyard in Venosa, in the Lucanian estate of Piccini. Aglianico in purity, it is a reserve that matures for 2 years only in barrique. Garnet red with aromas of blackberry, cherry in spirit, and Mediterranean scrub, with subtle hints of coffee on the finish. On the palate, it is very warm and enveloping, robust but with refined tannins.
