Perfect to drink every dayThe Albana Secco “A” produced by Fattoria Monticino Rosso is an immediate and expressive Romagna white wine, vinified in steel with a short aging in steel and barrique. It emanates hints of yellow fruit, wildflowers, citrus, and aromatic herbs. The sip is agile, fresh, savory, and drinkable, with excellent balance.
Albana Secco "A" from Fattoria Monticino Rosso is a wine that, from the very first breath, offers a sensation of sober elegance. An interesting mineral trail dominates the sip in the background, with a rhythm that grows in intensity as the savory sensations blend with the aromas on the nose, in a harmonious tasting that invites you to drink sip after sip. A bottle that does justice to the Zeoli family, always considered masters in interpreting the most traditional expressions of the Albana grape.
"A" Albana is produced by Fattoria Monticino Rosso using pure Albana grapes, an indigenous variety from Romagna that has always been cultivated in the estate's lands. The vines grow using the pergoletta romagnola system, in a terroir characterized by a hilly profile and a clayey subsoil. The must obtained from pressing the best grapes ferments in steel containers at a controlled temperature. The final aging phase lasts a few months and takes place both in steel and – for a minimal part – in French oak barrels. At the end of this short maturation, the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.
The Albana Secca "A" signed by Fattoria Monticino Rosso presents itself to the eye with a bright and shiny straw-yellow color. The opening on the nose is floral and fruity, but gradually hints of aromatic herbs also emerge. The entry on the palate is light-bodied, characterized by a enveloping and embracing sip, where a fresh and savory vein dominates, extremely smooth. A white perfect for any meal with various recipes of traditional Italian cuisine, characterized by a quality-price ratio that is nothing short of advantageous.
