The Aulente from San Patrignano is a red wine that comes from one of the many projects of the renowned recovery community. A vibrant community, that of San Patrignano, where in the Rimini area, among the many recovery activities, 110 hectares of vineyards are cultivated by the young people of the community's recovery center. The winemaker Luca D'Attoma leads the team of cellar workers in a continuous growth where the working technique is inspired, in a constant effort of harmonization, by nature. The Sangiovese, also for territorial reasons, is the main grape here and is also the grape used to produce this label. Unbeatable quality price for extremely satisfying everyday wines.
The Aulente red is obtained from selected Sangiovese grapes. The choice is to produce a liquid that has a strong connection to the territory, the vineyards are cultivated with integrated pest management. After the grape harvest at the end of September, with sorting included, the bunches are transported to the cellar where fermentation will take place in steel with skin macerationfor about 3 weeks. It then ages in large wooden barrels for 6 months.
The Aulente wine presents itself in the glass with a lively ruby red color. Despite its desired simplicity, notes of red fruit such as cherry and berries stand out on the nose, along with a vegetal component brought by the small balance of international grape varieties.
