The Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Crocedimezzo is a Tuscan red wine made from Sangiovese Grosso, patiently aged for 30 months in Slavonian and Allier oak barrels. Soft, rich, and structured, with enveloping tannins and a long, persistent finish, on the nose it expresses notes of berries, spicy hints due to the long aging, and slight balsamic nuances. Perfect to pair with red meat and game dishes.

Tenuta Crocedimezzo Brunello di Montalcino represents an interpretation of the Montalcino area with a structured yet balanced taste. The history of Tenuta Crocedimezzo began in 1971 in the locality of La Croce, just three kilometers southeast of the historic center of Montalcino. Here, among gentle hills and picturesque vineyards, just a stone's throw from the property of the historic winery Biondi-Santi, Tenuta Crocedimezzo also offers the opportunity to stay in the beautiful attached agriturismo of La Crociona, inaugurated at the end of the 1980s.

The Brunello di Montalcino from the Ilcinese reality Tenuta Crocedimezzo is produced exclusively from Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown in the eastern area of Montalcino, at an altitude of 480 meters above sea level. Once the grapes have reached the ideal stage of ripeness, manual harvesting and careful selection of the bunches take place, which are then vinified through alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in contact with the skins for 21 days. Subsequently, the mass is transferred to large oak barrelsof Slavonia and Allier of 25 and 32 hectoliters for aging of 30 months. Follow at least 8 months of further resting in the bottle before the final market release, a factor that allows for an immediately enjoyable wine.

In the glass, the Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Crocedimezzo displays an intense and bright ruby red hue. The fascinating and deep olfactory panorama evokes sensations of berries, rose petals, balsamic herbs, and underbrush, combined with hints of spices and leather due to the long passage in oak. Structured, soft, and intense tasting, surprisingly balanced, characterized by crunchy freshness and a velvety tannic texture accompanying the long fruity and spicy persistence.
