Cartizze Brut by Ruggeri is an elegant and exuberant sparkling wine, with an unmistakable fruity and floral profile. It smells of white flowers, honey, fruit, citrus fruits and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is smooth and caressing, but also fresh, savory, energetic and lively, with a masterly balance

The Cartizze Brut by Ruggeri is the flagship of this winery. In fact, this Sparkling wine is produced using Glera grapes (traditionally called Prosecco) that grow in a small but legendary area of the Treviso hills: Cartizze, indeed. Once, thanks to a particularly slow fermentation process that walked the line of temperatures, it was possible to obtain a sip with a pleasant vein and creamy foam, aided by a nearly late harvest of the bunches, allowing for an effective extraction of the noblest aromas from the must.

The history of Ruggeri Cartizze Brut takes shape precisely among the fractions of Santo Stefano, Saccol, and San Pietro di Barbozza. Here, the roots of the vines, enjoying a happy exposure, can feed on what a particularly rich soil offers, composed mainly of limestone, clays, and sandstones. The harvest begins in the second half of September, and subsequently, the fermentation process starts in the winery at a controlled temperature of 18°C, followed by refermentation in autoclave, as required by the Charmat Method.or Martinotti.

The Cartizze Brut Ruggeri enhances the glass with a pale straw yellow enriched by a light but persistent perlage. On the nose, the aromas reminiscent of apple, acacia flower, and wisteria are highlighted, leaving a light note of sage and lemon peel on the final breath. Equally impressive is the richness offered when one proceeds to drink this Cartizze; indeed, one is overwhelmed by the exciting balance of this Sparkling wine. Of typical liveliness, it is impossible not to notice how the sip is as soft as it is fresh and delicate, ideal when paired with delicate fish preparations that can elegantly combine and intertwine, creating a blend of aromas and flavors that is almost moving.
