The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs by Charles Heidsieck is an enveloping expression of the most famous bubbles in the world. It has a golden straw-yellow color with a dense and persistent perlage and expresses to the nose rich mineral and chalky notes in accompaniment to fresh and candied citrus fruit, apple pulp and lemon custard. The mouthfeel is creamy, enveloping and mellow with caressing bubbles of great elegance.
The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs by Charles Heidsieck is the clear and bright expression of the elegance and refinement of pure Chardonnay. It is a label of great finesse, made with the best grapes from the Cote des Blancs. Its delicately floral and fruity profile, along with the mineral notes typical of the terroir, have captivated the palates of the most demanding enthusiasts. The long aging on the lees, lasting 48 months, allows the Chardonnay to enrich the bouquet with intense and evolved aromas, making the sip rich, complex, and satisfying.
The Brut Blanc de Blancs by Charles Heidsieck was born back in 1949. However, as early as the beginning of the century, the Maison had started working on a project for a Champagne made solely from Chardonnay, intending to enhance some crus of the estate, famous for producing grapes of particular quality. Charles Heidsieck is one of the great names of Reims, the Maison was founded in 1851 and retains traces of its ancient history in the famous caves carved into the gypsum rock underground. A total of 8 kilometers of galleries where the Champagnes rest and mature. Today it is one of the most famous Maisons in the world, particularly appreciated for its elegant, harmonious, complex, and generous style. The Blanc de Blancs is born from a selection of grapes from the best parcels of the famous villages of Oger and Vertus, in the Cote des Blancs. After soft pressing and separate fermentation of each individual vineyard, the vins clairs rest in steel for a few months. The cuvée is made using the best batches of the vintage to which 25% of reserve wines are added. The charm of this Champagne lies in the perfect balance between the freshness of the vintage Chardonnay and the mature complexity of the wines aged in the cellar. Before dégorgement, the Champagne ages on the lees for at least 48 months.
