The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs is born in one of the most famous and prestigious Maisons in Champagne. Laurent-Perrier is a historic name that has been producing labels of extraordinary elegance since the 1800s. The cuvée is made with the best pure Chardonnay grapes, coming from the vineyards of the famous crus of the Côte des Blancs, Avize, Cramant, Oiry, Chouilly, and the Montagne de Reims, Tours-sur-Marne, Villers-Marmery, and Rilly La Montagne. At the end of the harvest, each parcel is vinified separately with fermentations in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After a few months of aging, the vins clairs are blended with the addition of a percentage of reserve wines to create the final cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a long aging sur lattes in the Maison's caves, before proceeding to the dégorgement.
The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs by Laurent-Perrier is a hymn to the purity of Chardonnay, the absolute protagonist of a cuvée of refined expressive elegance. In the glass, it presents a bright straw-yellow color with luminous reflections, with a very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it expresses a bouquet characterized by delicate citrus fragrances, lemon and cedar zest, aromas of Granny Smith apple, pear, white peach, hints of white flowers, notes of bread crust, pastry, and clear iodized memories. On the palate, it is rich and creamy, with soft and finely nuanced aromas, which extend towards a finish of great gustatory harmony, characterized by a clear citrus freshness, mineral and saline.
