CHAMPAGNE BRUT ROSÉ PHILIPPE DECHELLE DESCRIPTION

Champagne Brut Rosé of Maison Philippe Dechelle is a cuvée with a classic face, made from a balanced blend of the three typical grape varieties of the region. The refined elegance of Chardonnay combines with the crisp, generous fruit of Meunier and the structure of Pinot Noir. This is a Champagne of rich and intense character, with a bouquet of pleasantly fruity aromas and a sip of remarkable flavour persistence. It is precisely for these special qualities that it is highly appreciated at the table, where it perfectly accompanies seafood guazzetti with tomatoes, shellfish, salmon, white meat, noble poultry or a platter of sausages.

Brut Rosé is a champagne produced by Maison Philippe Dechelle, a traditional family business that has been operating since the end of the 19th century. However, the brand was created in 1982 on the initiative of Philippe Dechelle, who decided to make the most of the quality of his grapes. Today, the estate covers 9 hectares, divided into several plots located in the western part of the Vallée de la Marne. After harvest, the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes are vinified separately. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wines are then blended to create the final cuvée, which ferments in the bottle using the Champenoise method and ages on its lees for 24 months before disgorgement.

Maison Philippe Dechelle Rosé Brut is a champagne with good structure, pleasantly fruity, fragrant and crisp. It has a beautiful, bright and intense pink colour with light orange reflections. The fine, delicate and continuous perlage reveals on the nose a rich and intense bouquet with aromas of small berries, red currants, wild strawberries, raspberries, nuances of ripe citrus and floral hints. Soft and full-bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel, with intense and harmonious flavours that anticipate a long and persistent finish.
