It is the fruit of a maison that has been cultivating vines for ten generations and preserving an ancient savoir-faire based on a deep knowledge of the territory. Made also with reserve wines preserved using the Solera Method, it is a Champagne with a strong and distinctive personality, characterized by mature and complex aromas, marked by delicate oxidative nuances that enrich its bouquet. A bottle for enthusiasts who love the depth and enveloping elegance of tertiary aromas. Precisely for these characteristics, it finds the ideal placement at the table paired with roasted or spit-roasted white meats.
“Meunier Perpetuel” Champagne Extra Brut Famille Delouvin is the result of a reality that has maintained a characteristically confidential brand with which it markets a small production made with extreme care. The Champagne is produced only with Meunier grapes coming from parcels located in the municipal territory of Vandières, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne region. The vines are cultivated on marl soils with a sunny exposure facing south and southeast, which favors an ‘excellent ripening of the grapes. The best clusters selected in the vineyard during the harvest are pressed gently, and the free-run must is vinified in white with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The base wines age for several months without undergoing malolactic fermentation, to then be blended with 30% of perpetual reserve wines of the maison preserved for 30 years partly in steel and partly in French oak barrels. The secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with at least 36 months of aging on the lees before disgorgement.
