Petit Clergeot’s ‘Les Commes’ Champagne comes from a historic plot in Polisot, once cultivated by the current owner’s grandfather, nestled amongst woods at an altitude of 400 metres. Despite the altitude, the climate is quite warm, which at these latitudes allows the Pinot Noir to ripen fully. On the nose, it combines ripe fruity aromas with balsamic and herbal notes; on the palate, it is briny, elegant and of great finesse. Excellent with shellfish, it is ideally paired with Breton-style lobster

A pale golden yellow with subtle coppery highlights and a persistent effervescence

Complex and mature, with notes of apricot, pear and resin, and a pastry-like finish

Smooth, with a rich savoury depth, fresh and well-balanced
