The Champagne Brut Reserve Vieilles Vignes by Francis Orban is a Champagne made from Pinot Meunier grapes, fully expressive of its territory, in the village of Leuvrigny. It has a golden straw yellow color with fine and abundant perlage and expresses to the nose scents of peach, apricot and candied apricot, ripe pear with mineral puffs while the mouthfeel is of excellent softness and persistent freshness, of great balance

The Champagne Brut Réserve Vieilles Vignes by Francis Orban is unique in being made with pure Meunier, the red grape variety most typical of the Vallée de la Marne area. It is a label that highlights the best characteristics of breadth and aromatic richness of the grape, capable of delivering generous fruit, a product of the splendid terroir of Leuvrigny. A Champagne of good structure, with a juicy and creamy sip, of extreme harmony and taste balance.

The Brut Réserve Vieilles Vignes is a Champagne produced by Maison Francis Orban, a family-run business founded in 1929, which has been managing an estate in Leuvrigny, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, for four generations. The vineyards are located just 15 kilometers from Épernay, considered the true capital of Champagne. The beautiful sunny exposures and the calcareous-clay soils are ideal for perfectly ripening the Meunier, the queen variety of this area of the Champagne region. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are softly pressed and started fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The vins clairs mature in steel also undergoing malolactic fermentation. The cuvée is composed of 50% of the base wines of the vintage and the remaining 50% from reserve wines from previous years. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Méthode Champenoise, with a minimum aging period on the lees of 24 months.

The Champagne Brut Réserve Vieilles Vignes by Francis Orban is excellent to taste as an aperitif or to accompany light grilled fish dishes. In the glass, it presents a bright golden yellow color, crossed by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it opens with fragrant aromas of peach, apricot, small berries accompanied by sensations of bread crust. The sip, broad and aromatically rich, unfolds harmoniously towards a fresh and elegant finish, with great taste balance.
