Champagne Rosé Brut Bollinger
Champagne Rosé elegant, with a fragrant bouquet, smooth and softly tannic
The Champagne Rosé Brut by Bollinger is finesse, pleasantness, and intensity, all presented in that recognizable Bollinger style. It is a style that never disappoints and reaffirms every time the excellence that has made the Maison famous all over the world. This is a historic Maison, founded in 1829 in Ay, a town located in the Vallée de la Marne and known for producing particularly high-quality Pinot Noir grapes. One of the essential requirements that make a Rosé a Champagne capable of surprising with elegance is to use in the assemblage a red wine of class and complexity. Faithful to expression and territorial enhancement, the Maison has been able to leverage the quality of the Pinot Noir grapes that are born and grow in this area of Champagne. The result is only to be discovered by tasting these bubbles rich in flavor.
The Brut Rosé Champagne by Bollinger is composed of a blend distributed as follows: 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay, and 14% Pinot Meunier. The vinification in rosé is carried out according to the practiceof the assemblage, that is the addition of a share of red wine which, in this case, is about 5-6%, most of which comes from Grand Cru and Premier Cru. The refermentation in the bottle occurs as traditionally done in the Metodo Champenoise and exceeds the minimum duration imposed by the regulations.
Bollinger Champagne Brut Rosé presents itself with an antique pink color, with a fine perlage that makes it very bright. Its aroma is very pleasant and is articulated in a fruity bouquet of strawberry, currant, and blueberry, also quite ripe, embroidered on a background of shortcrust pastry and almond. The sip is creamy yet fresh and dry; the aromas perfectly correspond to the scents of must and ripe red fruit perceived on the nose, but are inserted into a well-dry taste. It is the same Maison Bollinger that recommends this Brut Rosé for every occasion: from aperitif to dessert, from picnic on the lawn to afternoon tea break.
