Champagne Rosé Brut Nature 'Ravage' Famille Delouvin

The Rosé Brut Nature Champagne ‘Ravage’ from the family-run sparkling wine producer Famille Delouvin represents a bold and generous interpretation of the Vallée de la Marne territory. In particular, this Champagne is born from the blend of the Champagne Brut Nature ‘Sauvage’, a pure Pinot Meunier that stands out as one of the most representative labels of the winery, and the Coteaux Champenois Rouge ‘Chailettes Loupettes’, a still red made from Pinot Meunier grapes produced in very limited quantities through a brief aging in oak barrels.

Famille Delouvin ‘Ravage’ Champagne Brut Nature Rosé is an expression of pure Pinot Meunier from sustainably cultivated vines within the municipality of Viandères, in the Vallée de la Marne, on soils made up of clayey marls. The base of ‘Sauvage’ is produced through alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation. Instead, the Coteaux Champenois Rouge ‘Chailettes Loupettes’, which represents just 9% of the final blend, is vinified without any input and aged for a short period in oak barrels. Following the blending of the two wines, the sparkling process in the bottle is carried out according to the Champenoise Method, accompanied by at least 48 months of aging sur lattes, followed by disgorgement without final dosage.

The ‘Ravage’ Famille Delouvin Champagne Rosé Brut Nature has an intense and brilliant pink color with fine and persistent effervescence. The aromatic range evokes fascinating hints of berries and balsamic notes, enriched by fresh floral scents and delicate spice nuances. Rich and decisive on the palate, with pronounced freshness that accompanies the fragrant fruity and floral finish, of excellent length.
