Champagne "Terre" by Marc Augustin is a Blanc de Noirs made with only Pinot Noir grapes from its own vineyards based in Avenay-Val-D’Or, village in the Montagne de Reims region. The production philosophy is biodynamic, in the vineyard and in the cellar, the search to produce a wine full of energy, stable and structured like the earth, a natural element that inspired this cuvée, is always constant. With vegetal and salty aromas, it is proposed to the mineral palate, fresh and rich in aromatic power

The Champagne "Terre" by Marc Augustin is a Blanc de Noirs of great complexity and finesse, a liquid vital and shimmering, which is not always a given for a classic method. A true artisanal work from the Marc Augustin winery, which has always been a firm believer that great wines come from perfectly healthy and ripe grapes, which fully explains the meticulous application of biodynamics in the vineyard and a vigilant but never overbearing care. Vines located between the Montagne de Reims and the Cote des Blancs allow for the collection of excellent Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, enabling them to be blended according to a stylistic signature that favors purity and rigor. Exciting bottles, produced in limited quantities.

The Champagne Blanc De Noirs "Terre" is produced with pure Pinot Noir grapes from young vines located in Avenay-Val-D’Or. In the vineyard, the principles of Steinerian biodynamics are followed to preserve the vitality of the soil and plants, and in the winery, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the base wines takes place in wooden barrels, jars, and terracotta amphorae without filtering the liquids.wood, used jars, and terracotta amphorae without filtering the liquids. Second fermentation in the bottle and aging for at least 36 months on the lees.

“Terre” Blanc De Noirs by Marc Augustin presents itself in the glass with a beautiful luminous golden hue and an extremely fine perlage. Complex and varied nose but always whispered and played on aromatic definition: there is chalk, green apple, bread crust, and a nearly lymphatic vegetal note. The sip is vital, crisp, and deep, and the backbone of Pinot Noir emerges in a dynamic, vigorous, and tonic manner. Extremely long persistence, making it a wine to be enjoyed even with rather elaborate fish preparations. Luminous.
