Winegrower's winesThe Chardonnay Arbois from Domaine du Pélican comes from vineyards on marl soils rich in limestone, which represent one of the most suitable environments in Jura for this grape variety. This wine interprets a precise and elegant style, capable of uniting volume, tension, and a marked mineral imprint. The grapes are harvested and gently pressed before pressing, then the alcoholic fermentation takes place in large barrels and barriques to preserve the balance between fruit and complexity. The aging continues for 12 months, with two-thirds of the wine in barrels and one-third in barriques. In the glass, it presents a brilliant straw yellow color and a bouquet that recalls white flowers, yellow apple, ripe citrus, and light hints of hazelnut and flint.
