The Chardonnay from the Argentine winery El Enemigo is a soft and tasty white wine perfect for pairing with fish or grilled white meats. This label is made with carefully hand-selected pure grapes, vinified with only indigenous yeasts and aged for 9 months in French oak barrels. The straw yellow color with golden reflections shines in the glass while aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit and white flowers enchant the nose. The sip is full, soft, long, and harmonious

The Chardonnay from El Enemigo is born in Argentina, precisely in Maipú near Mendoza. The owner of the winery is Alejandro Vigil, also known as “The Elvis Presley of wines” for his ability to produce unique and creative wines. Alejandro is passionate about reading, cooking, and music, and he conveys all the creativity and genius in the products of his activity, being considered one of the best winemakers in the world. The philosophy of the business is to produce wines the old-fashioned way, fresh, drinkable, and pleasant, that can evoke emotions with every glass.

The pure Chardonnay grapes of El Enemigo are grown near the Andes Mountains at an altitude above sea level ranging from 930 to 1470 meters; in particular, the Gualtallary vineyard cultivated with Chardonnay reaches the maximum height of the winery's holdings. The soil is calcareous, rocky, and clayey, a composition that is optimal for vine cultivation; the climate is characterized by significant temperature variations between day and night favorable for grape ripening. After the harvest is completed, a 40-day fermentation with indigenous yeasts in mostly new French barriques takes place, followed by a 9-month aging.

The Chardonnay from El Enemigo appears in the glass with a straw yellow color and golden reflections. The aromas are intense and reminiscent of ripe yellow fruit, white flowers, and dried fruit; on the palate, one perceives a soft and full structure with a broad and persistent finish that invites a second glass. Perfect paired with vegetarian dishes, stewed meat, and grilled fish. A product to have in personal cellars to enjoy with lifelong friends or on the family feast table to taste a unique and always pleasantly unpredictable wine.
