Chardonnay Tenuta Volpare 2024

The Chardonnay from the young wine estate Tenuta Volpare is an interpretation with a fresh and balanced soul that originates in Oltrecastello, a district of the municipality of Trento. The estate applies the principles of certified organic agriculture to safeguard the health of the environment and biodiversity. The health of the grapes is favored by the correct exposure and orientation of the rows, as well as by rational agronomic practices aimed at reducing humidity around the clusters while encouraging optimal ripening. In the winery, the aim is to support the quality of the grapes and the expression of the territory by adopting a non-invasive winemaking approach.

Tenuta Volpare Chardonnay comes exclusively from grapes of the same name, a Burgundy variety grown on the hills east of Trento, at an altitude of 540 meters above sea level. The vines, planted in 2011 with full south exposure, are cultivated under certified organic regime and rest on clay-limestone soils. The Chardonnay from Tenuta Volpare has a straw yellow color with brilliant hues. The nose offers delicate aromas of wildflowers and fresh white-fleshed fruit, followed by a slight and pleasant salty note. Fresh, balanced, and pleasantly fruity on the palate, characterized by a delicate mineral accent on the finish.
