The Cheverny Rouge "Hauts de Madon" from the producer Christian Venier is a soft and light red wine made with a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay. The whole bunches ferment with indigenous yeasts in a tank of cement and resin, the grapes are subjected to carbonic maceration and bottled unfiltered. The main aromas that go back to the nose are notes of aromatic herbs such as thyme and rosemary, hints of berries and earthy scents.
