The Chianti Classico "Peppoli" by Antinori is a medium-bodied red wine with good intensity, aged for 9 months in large barrels. It is characterized by floral, balsamic, and spicy aromas, with smooth and well-integrated tannins in a soft, pleasant, and very balanced sip.

The Chianti Classico Peppoli, a splendid expression of vineyards located in the heart of the denomination, is a compendium of freshness and roundness. The particular vocation of its place of origin and the intelligent balance between respect for tradition and modern practices have allowed since 1985 the creation of a wine that has now become a reference point in its category. It is therefore a symbolic expression, a flag in the world of Chianti, that great expression from which many producers have drawn and still draw inspiration. Antinori is certainly one of the most well-known and appreciated realities in the wine world. In addition to boasting a long history and presenting every year symbolic and exemplary labels, like this Peppoli, it has opened the doors to the success of Tuscan wines, through the production of high-quality bottles. These are expressions of great territorial adherence, with a Tuscan taste, the result of research, tradition, and passion, that can reveal in a sip the "Tuscany" of the Antinori family.

The Peppoli of Antinori comes from the estate of the same name, which stands out for the particular richness of minerals present in the soil, located about 5 km from the prestigious Tignanello vineyard. We find ourselves in an enchanted area, a natural amphitheater, where the Tuscan valleys are smoothed by the sea breezes. With all these premises, a unique and unforgettable expression could only be born: the Peppoli branded Antinori. The blend is produced mostly from Sangiovese, while the remainder is divided between Syrah and Merlot, which give the wine a spicy and tasty contribution, as well as softness. The Sangiovese macerates for 10 days in steel, while the French varieties remain in contact with the skins for a longer period. After a careful extraction of the softer tannins and a malolactic fermentation that takes place separately for all three grape varieties, the potential wine is assembled and aged in wood. The aging may involve the use of large Slavonian oak barrels only, or also the use of barriques depending on the vintage.

of violet, typical of Sangiovese. The picture is completed by toasted nuances due to aging in wood, perfectly integrated. The entry on the palate is flavorful and delicate, thanks to a caressing tannin and a good contribution of freshness and sapidity. Its gastronomic nature calls for first courses dressed with meat sauces, medium-aged cheeses, and soups. A daily wine not to be missed, for its ability to combine typicity and extreme pleasantness.
