The Chianti Classico Riserva from the Castello di Cacchiano winery is a warm, smooth red wine aged for more than 36 months in French oak barrels, tonneaux and barriques. The aging in wood gives it delicate aromas of vanilla, tobacco and sweet spices that, alongside notes of berries, cherry and plum, make up a broad and deep bouquet. The sip is full and enveloping, intense and warm, very persistent on the palate, supported on the finish by soft, well-smoothed tannins. An ideal wine to accompany roasted or stewed red meat dishes
