The Chiaretto "Roseri" is producted on the Brescia bank of the Garda Lake, between Desenzano and Salò, in the Valtènesi regione. The particular climate makes this zone particularly suited for the development of various aromas in the wines: peach and roses flowers, pomegranade, scents of white pulp fruits and litchi. The sip is smooth and soft, with a unic elegance and a good persistence, a pleasant freshness ends to clear the palate
Cà Maiol's Chiaretto del Garda "Roseri" is a wine made from the vinification of the four typical grapes of the Garda terroir. It is called "Roseri" for the delicacy of the bouquet expressed on the nose, which recalls the light sensations that characterise the scents of rose buds. A label with a fragrant sip, in which the drink flows with ease, recounting a territorial and identity profile of which Ca' Maiol is a superb interpreter.
Cà Maiol's 'Roseri' is a Chiaretto del Garda that comes from a blend dominated by Groppello, alongside which we find Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera. These varieties grow in soils of a calcareous nature, medium stratified with compact clay. We are located between Desenzano and Salò, an area dominated by a climate that guarantees excellent ripening of the grapes, also thanks to the breezes coming from nearby Lake Garda. The must undergoes a short cryo-maceration on the skins, while the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, where the wine remains to stabilise for a few months, until it is ready to be bottled and subsequently marketed.
The "Roseri" Chiaretto del Garda wine from Cà Maiol presents itself to the eye with a light pink colour, crossed by some lighter reflections, tending towards powdery. Fruit dominates the primary evolution of the nose, then enriched during its evolution by hints of incense that become more assiduous towards the end of the olfactory analysis. On the palate, it is light-bodied, dynamic and flowing, with a taste characterised by a persistent savouriness. It closes with a finish characterised by a peach flavour. A label that finds a pleasant geographical match in the cellar with the traditional lake dishes of the nearby Garda area.
