The Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Riserva ‘Ripe del Falco’ by Ippolito 1845 comes from vineyards over forty years old. Austere and enveloping, it undergoes a long maturation and is capable of further aging in the bottle. The nose reveals wilted rose petals, hints of autumn underbrush, black licorice, leather, fine tobacco, and oriental spices. On the palate, it is warm, savory, and has very fine tannins. A wine for meditation that pairs beautifully with braised game
