The Cremant de Bourgogne "Grande Cuvée" by Veuve Ambal is a Brut Classic Method sparkling wine with a fresh, refined and creamy tone, aged for at least 12 months on the lees. The nose recalls aromas of dried fruit, citrus, tropical fruit, vegetable pops and hints of pastry. On the palate it is elegant, taut and vibrant, with a creamy softness and a subtle and fine perlage

The Cremant de Bourgogne Brut “Grande Cuvée” by Veuve Ambal is an extremely enjoyable and territorial classic method with an unmatched quality-price ratio. When talking about French sparkling wines, it often comes to mind to think of the Champagne region, forgetting, however, that there are other terroirs that are equally suited and whose wines could make more illustrious colleagues falter in a blind tasting. Burgundy is one of those mythical regions where every type produced can reach excellence, thanks to a unique geological composition that enhances the grape varieties planted here, namely Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Aligoté, the same ones that give life to this tasty label bottled by Veuve Ambal. All the liquids are nonetheless dedicated to the stylistic hallmark of elegance and drinkability, convivial bottles to stock up on, also considering the quality-price ratio decidedly skewed towards the former.

The Brut “Grande Cuvée” is obtained from grapes of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay, and Aligoté, sourced from vineyards located in the municipality of Corton, in Cote d'Or. In the vineyard, utmost attention is paid to the perfect ripening of the grapes and the selection of the best bunches, while in the cellar, soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation, and refermentation in the bottle are carried out according to the classic method. The liquid ages between 12 and 18 months on its own yeasts and, after disgorgement, is dosed.

The Brut “Grande Cuvée” Cremant de Bourgogne by Veuve Ambal presents itself in the glass with an intense straw yellow color adorned with golden reflections. The nose has great richness and olfactory breadth, with hints ranging from salted butter to brioche, from acacia to linden for a delicious and charming profile. A soft and creamy sip, developing between references to exotic fruit and pastry cream, however enlivened by a nice push of freshness and sapidity.
