I Custodi delle Vigne dell'Etna's ‘Saeculare’ is an uncompromising Etna Rosso Riserva from centuries-old vineyards on the north side of the Sicilian volcano. Lively, elegant and of great ageing, it owes its complexity to the long refinement of 24 months in tonneaux, followed by an equal number of months in the bottle. Aromatically it gives intense nuances of ripe red fruits, typical tobacco sensations and spicy hints of black pepper. Best appreciated with a board of well-aged cheeses or classic red meat
