The "Diana" by Ocone is a Falanghina from Sannio produced in the Taburno subzone from vines located at 300 meters above sea level. Vinified only in steel, it is characterized by the classic graceful aromas of tropical fruit, green apple, pear, and toasted almonds, giving rise to a full and fruity sip, supported by nice freshness.

The Falanghina del Sannio “Diana” is a young and versatile white wine from Campania, the result of a process carried out exclusively in steel, both during vinification and aging. This choice allows the grape used, Falanghina, to maintain its varietal characteristics, which are clearly evident on the nose and palate, where fruit and freshness are the key elements that linger in the mind once the tasting is finished. A perfect label to be uncorked now, so you can savor its immense straightforwardness and liveliness.

The “Diana” is a Falanghina del Sannio that comes from the vineyards owned by the Ocone winery located near the municipality of Ponte. We are at about 300 meters above sea level, on a clayey soil characterized by the presence of tuff rock. The bunches, after manual harvesting, are destemmed, and the obtained grapes undergo a cold maceration, before fermenting in stainless steel containers at a temperature kept constantly within certain degrees. The process then continues with the final aging, during which the wine remains for a few months to stabilize in steel, until it is bottled and put on the market.

This Falanghina del Sannio “Diana” Ocone presents itself visually with a straw yellow color, crossed by light reflections tending more towards greenish, especially visible at the rim. The nose is dominated by initial notes of white-fleshed fruit, enriched by more floral nuances and slight toasted echoes. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with a round and satisfying sip, characterized by a pleasant fresh imprint. Quality and price balance masterfully in this Campanian white, perfect on the table with various ingredients and preparations, from pizza to fried fish.
