The "Ferrigno" is a red wine that takes its name from the Cesanese biotype grape. With a lively and brilliant red, it brings to the nose vinous notes of small red fruits, mineral accents due to the volcanic soil and floral sensations. On the palate it is fresh, direct and straightforward, with delicate tannins. 

The "Ferrigno" from Ribelà is a winey and fragrant red, a joyful squeeze of small red fruits enriched by mineral puffs. The Ribelà winery was founded in 2014, born from the common intent of Chiara and Daniele, partners in life as well as in the winemaking project. The name chosen for the winery derives from the dialect term ribelare, which means to cover, clearly referring to the act of replenishing the soil around the plant with a hoe or spade. Just 2 hectares of vineyard, cultivated clearly and respectfully, following the principles of biodynamic agriculture to preserve the vitality of the soil, and the choice to rely on the consultancy of Danilo Marcucci, a brilliant winemaker from central Italy, make this small Lazio winery a vibrant artisanal reality. The bottled liquids are therefore a direct consequence, capable of combining straightforwardness and fruit liveliness with a refreshing taste cohesion.

The red "Ferrigno" is obtained from a blend made up of pure Cesanese Comunie grapes.coming from vineyards that rest on the volcanic soils of the Colli Albani. In the vineyard, there is no use of chemical substances, pesticides, or herbicides, but rather the help of biodynamic preparations, along with a bit of copper and sulfur. In the winery, the process continues with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation using indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins for 6 days, followed by aging for several months in cherry wood barrels and fiberglass tanks.

The wine “Ferrigno” presents itself in the glass with a ruby color, bright and vital. Adjectives that can also be attributed to the olfactory impact, where the liquid joyfully unfolds hints of berries, earth, graphite, and violet, drawing a festive and straightforward profile. The sip, juicy and invigorating, is characterized by an agile and lively physique that gives the liquid an irresistible drinkability.
