Fiano di Avellino "Vitis Apianus" is a white wine with a Mediterranean breath that is aged exclusively in steel. The bouquet has scents of white fruits, Mediterranean herbs, citrus and pleasant saline nuances. The mouthfeel is very fresh, balanced and drinkable, rich and very savory

The Fiano di Avellino “Vitis Apianus” by Cantine Astroni originates in Campania, specifically in Naples, from a family-run winery. The business began with Vincenzo Varchetta in 1891, who was the first to evaluate the possibility of transforming the passion for wine production and expanding the business; after World War II, the work was taken over by his son Giovanni, who brought about the actual commercialization of the products, starting from a solid base of knowledge and experience regarding the local grapes. Today, the fourth generation successfully manages the family winery, offering wines that are the result of traditional processing, attentive to the enhancement and protection of the territory.

The grapes of the Fiano di Avellino “Vitis Apianus” by Cantine Astroni are cultivated in soils where plant biodiversity predominates, also thanks to the fact that the relationship between the coite and the Campanian territory has ancient roots, as evidenced by the numerous classical writers who have praised the potential of this area.In particular, the Campi Flegrei are considered a fascinating and flourishing land, thanks to good sun exposure and the presence of craters that retain water, providing continuous hydration to the plants; completing the picture is a mild climate both in winter and summer that allows for good ripening of the grapes. The harvest is manual and the must ferments in steel spontaneously for 2 weeks; it ages for a few months in steel.

The Fiano di Avellino 'Vitis Apianus' by Cantine Astroni presents itself in the glass with a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The aromas recall citrus fruits, ripe white-fleshed fruit, and the sea. On the palate, there is a characterful structure, fresh with a pleasant sapidity that transports the mind to the sea and its scents and presents an excellent drinkability that invites every glass. It pairs perfectly with grilled fish dishes, shellfish, and fried seafood. Excellent to enjoy during summer aperitifs by the sea with friends for carefree evenings filled with chatter or for family fish barbecues to savor the flavor of a land dedicated to producing great wines.glass the flavor of a land dedicated to producing great wines.
