The Franciacorta Brut Millè of Muratori is a vintage born from the skillful blending of Chardonnay grapes from the different vineyards of the estate. It presents a bright straw yellow, crossed by a creamy perlage and reveals notes of white flowers, broom, dried fruit, hazelnuts, and bread crust on the nose. It is made with Chardonnay grapes that come from vineyards cultivated in different areas of Franciacorta, on different soils and with different microclimates, which allow, thanks to their complementarity, to achieve a balanced expressive harmony. Its name is inspired both by its nature as a wine from a single Vintage and by the term Millennials. The Brut "Millè" is a Franciacorta produced by a winery that has always been committed to enhancing the territory, with wines that have a fresh and mineral profile. Unlike other labels from Villa Crespia, which are expressions of single parcels from different areas of Franciacorta, Millè is an atypical and unique blend. It is a pure Chardonnay made with a selection of the best grapes from the estate. The bunches are softly pressed and the free-run must is started for fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 17 °C. The base wines mature in steel tanks, on the lees and with frequent bâtonnage, partially undergoing malolactic fermentation. After blending, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method, with a stay on the lees of at least 30 months.
