The Franciacorta Brut by Muratori is the label of the range with a fresher, tighter, and more vertical profile. Thanks to careful zoning work, the various parcels of the estate have been divided based on their peculiar characteristics, allowing for the creation of different wines that can convey the various nuances of the territory in the glass. It is a version of Franciacorta dedicated to lovers of the purity of Chardonnay, floral and citrusy, which expresses its youthful and refined fruity elegance. A delicate Franciacorta, suitable to be enjoyed as an aperitif or paired with raw fish appetizers or vegetables.
The Franciacorta Brut by Muratori, a winery that has shaped its collection following the nuances of the terroir of the denomination. Thus, bottles are born that manage to authentically give voice to the individual vineyards. The Chardonnay of this label, from the Villa Crespia estate, comes from vineyards grown on glacial and fluvial origin soils, with a clayey-sandy matrix containing gravel. The cool continental climate favors a slow maturation of the grapes that arrive at the time of harvest while maintaining great freshness. The grapes are gently pressed to extract only the free-run juice. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 17 °C. The base wines mature for a few months without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with aging on the lees for at least 24 months.
The Muratori Franciacorta Brut expresses all the clear freshness of a young and fragrant Chardonnay. Visually, it presents a straw yellow color with a fine and continuous perlage. Refined and subtle, it reveals delicate aromas of white flowers, linden, rose petals, citrus notes of lime, green apple, hints of bread crust, and vegetal nuances. The sip is clear and linear, with remarkable expressive tension, featuring harmonious fruit that leads to a savory and very fresh finish. An elegant and fine Franciacorta, with extraordinary tasting elegance.
