The Franciacorta Saten by Bellavista is produced exclusively from white grapes of the same vintage, in this case pure Chardonnay. Another particular characteristic of the Saten is the pressure of the bottles, which must be less than 5 bars. This results in a sparkling wine that is silky, velvety, with a fine and less perceptible perlage. Coming from the vines of Chardonnay that have better exposure, the grapes are meticulously selected first in the vineyard and then in the winery. The aging of the base wines takes place in small barrels of white oak, which are subsequently blended for the sparkling process. Extremely limited production, for a bubbly that since 1984, the first year of production, is an emblem of sensuality and seduction.
The Saten by Bellavista, just poured into the glass, shows an abundant and creamy foam, as well as a perlage of rare finesse. At the first sniff, it unfolds with floral notes, of peach and elderflower, not skimping on hints of dried fruit, such as hazelnut. The profile, rich and varied, is integrated with pastry notes that entice tasting.
