The Franciacorta Brut Vezzoli is a Metodo Classico produced with pure Chardonnay in Erbusco, in the heart of the denomination territory. It is an elegant and intense blanc de blancs, a typical expression of the best characteristics of the territory. Thanks to the use of the SoloUva method, which does not involve the addition of exogenous sugars, it retains a pleasant fruity richness and highlights the varietal typicity of ripe and rich grapes. It is a Franciacorta of great balance, harmonious, fresh, and fruity, perfect to enjoy at the time of the aperitif or with seafood appetizers.
The Brut Metodo Classico by Vezzoli is a Franciacorta that comes from a selection of Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards of Erbusco, Adro, Capriolo, Cologne, Cazzago San Martino, and Passirano. Each year the composition varies depending on the characteristics of the vintage, in order to always offer a harmonious wine. The uniqueness of the Franciacorta Vezzoli lies in the use of the SoloUva protocol. Throughout the production phase, no exogenous sugars are added. It starts from well-ripened grapes, without early harvests and at the time of tiraggio and dosage, no sugar is used but self-produced grape must, in order to fully respect the integrity of the fruit and the authenticity of the characteristics of the territory. After soft pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The base wines mature for several months before the definition of the blend, which is also created using reserve wines from previous vintages. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, with a stay on the lees for at least 20 months.
