Franciacorta Rosé Brut Ricci Curbastro
Elegant, citrusy and seductive, the Franciacorta Rosé by Ricci Curbastro is a sparkling wine mainly from Pinot Noir grapes, with a small percentege of Chardonnay, aged on the lees for 30 months. It expresses scents of rapberries, pink grapefruit and dried flowers. The taste is agile, dry and refreshing
The Rosé Franciacorta Brut by Ricci Curbastro is a Lombard sparkling wine that strikes with its burst of aromas and flavors expressed during tasting. Ripe sour cherries and jujubes alternate on the nose with floral hints of rose, a prelude to a rigorous and decisive sip, where the impetuous freshness is tamed by a sip of great linearity. A label where even the aesthetic appearance is carefully crafted with an impactful image that captivates the eye of those about to taste it.
The Rosé Brut Franciacorta by Ricci Curbastro originates from the happy union of two grapes, the predominant Pinot Nero, with a percentage of 80%, and Chardonnay. The former comes from the vineyards of Bosco Basso in Capriolo, while Chardonnay is cultivated in both the vineyards of Capriolo and those of Iseo. After harvesting and pressing the grapes, the must obtained from Pinot Nero undergoes a slight maceration on the skins. The subsequent fermentation takes place in steel and lasts for 8 months, while the following refermentation occurs in the bottle, following the principles of the Metodo Classic. The sparkling wine then ages on the lees for a period of 30 months, after which the disgorging, dosage, and bottling operations are carried out.
The Franciacorta Rosé Brut presents itself to the eye with a bright pink color, crossed by slight reflections tending more towards copper, visible at the rim. The nose fascinates with a series of fragrant sensations, which shift from fruit, expressed with various references, to a set of more floral notes. On the palate, it is light, slender, and smooth, with a youthful sip that strikes the palate with a fresh note, in perfect balance. A sparkling wine that the Ricci Curbastro winery defines as “beautiful and good” and after savoring just a few sips, one can only agree with this definition.
