Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero 'Uno' Colline della Stella - Arici
Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Uno by Arici is a very fresh, dry and mineral sparkling wine made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, refined on the lees for at least 18 months. The bouquet is made of bread crust, flowers and white fruit. The taste is incisive, energetic and very dry, with almost saline minerality
Respect for the territory, always and in any case. This is what drove Andrea Arici to recover, at the end of the '90s, some terraced vineyards in the municipality of Gussago, to start a production of non-dosed sparkling wines, from which the true personality of one of the most vocated terroirs in Italy for the production of bubbles, Franciacorta, could emerge. This Dosaggio Zero Colline della Stella presents itself with a business card focused on minerality, a characteristic that develops thanks to a dry, smooth, and clean drink, decidedly satisfying.
The Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Collina della Stella by Arici is born from a blend where, alongside Chardonnay, we find a small percentage of Pinot Nero. The grapes, carefully harvested during the harvest phase, undergo a first fermentation in steel, remaining on the fine lees for six months. Then, as required by the production rules of the Metodo Classico, the second fermentation in the bottle takes place, where the wine remains to mature on its own yeasts for at least 18 months, at the endof which the disgorging operations are carried out, without adding any dosage syrup.
This Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Colline della Stella presents itself in the glass with an intense, bright, and luminous straw yellow color; the perlage is fine-grained and persistent. The range of aromas that develops on the nose tells of fresh notes, dominated by floral and fruity sensations, also enriched by hints of toasted bread and yeasts. On the palate, it strikes for its pronounced minerality, which develops on a perfectly balanced sip, with a fresh and dry texture. A bottle that represents the first step within the range created by Arici, a young winery that, in each label, presents the Franciacorta terroir with honesty and transparency.
