'Franco' Tenuta Lenzini 2023

'Franco' by Tenuta Lenzini is a 100% Cabernet Franc made from artisanal methods by Michele and Benedetta, small vignerons based in Gragnano in the province of Lucca. It ferments spontaneously in concrete tanks and gives itself to the nose with 'frank' aromas (as the name suggests!) and typical of the original grape variety. In the mouth it is soft and enveloping, with a long, vegetal and earthy finish. Ah, its name is a tribute to Benedetta's grandfather, without whom this winery would not even exist; thanks Franco!
