The Gewurztraminer from La Vis is an aromatic and fresh white wine from Trentino that ages exclusively in steel. On the nose, it presents a very varietal bouquet of rose, tropical fruit, and nutmeg. On the palate, it shows a enveloping and creamy structure, marked by a precious and intense freshness.

The Gewurztraminer from the Trentino winery La Vis is a white wine with an intense aromatic profile, making it easily recognizable and particularly loved by enthusiasts. It is a rich and full-bodied wine that captivates with its aromas of exotic fruit, with floral and spicy nuances, enriching the generous bouquet. The taste is broad and satisfying, with complex and very persistent aromas. It is excellent to enjoy paired with typical spicy dishes from Indian, Asian, or North African cuisine.

In Italy, Gewurztraminer is mainly produced in Alto Adige in the area near Termeno, but the grape variety has adapted very well in some areas of Trentino as well. One of these is certainly Lavis, particularly in the hilly area of Furli, in the lower Valle di Cembra and in Pressano, where the clayey soils have proven particularly suitable for the needs of this ancient variety of Central European origin, born from a genetic mutation of Tramin or Savagnin Blanc. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level and are trained in Guyot or simple Trentino pergola, with a planting density of 5000 vines per hectare. After manual harvesting, the grapes are softly pressed in an inert atmosphere and then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine ages on the fine lees in steel for about 5-6 months before being bottled.

The white Gewurztraminer is produced with one of the few aromatic grape varieties, meaning it produces wines that have the same scents and aromas already present in the starting grapes. A peculiarity that makes it particularly appreciated and popular among consumers and enthusiasts. In the glass, it presents a beautiful golden yellow color. On the nose, it expresses an olfactory palette that ranges from floral scents of rose petal to white flowers, with aromas of yellow fruit, pineapple, lychee, passion fruit, and soft oriental spices. The taste is warm, rich, dense, and complex, with an important body and remarkable final persistence.
