Still white wine, intense and complex, rich in aroma with hints of spices and exotic fresh fruit, ample and well-balanced
The Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Steingrubler is one of the highlights of the entire production of the Aimé Stentz winery. In fact, it is a label that originates from one of the most vocated crus in the whole of Alsace, where the Gewürztraminer, cultivated using exclusively organic methods, takes on very pure, genuine contours that allow one to appreciate its great aromaticity both on the nose and in the mouth. This is a bottle that will have no problem being appreciated by white wine enthusiasts, and can proudly stand for quality Alsatian viticulture.
This Steingrubler Grand Cru by Aimé Stentz is a Gewürztraminer that originates from old vineyards, around 50 years old, located at around 300 metres above sea level. The terroir of the Grand Cru where this international variety is cultivated has a purely calcareous matrix. Harvesting is manual, and the bunches, once picked, are pressed entirely with delicacy; the must thus obtained begins to ferment spontaneously, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, in steel tanks. Final ageing takes place in oak barrels for 12 months.
The Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Steingrubler develops a beautiful golden yellow colour to the eye, truly to be admired in the glass. Concentrated is the olfactory core, which highlights a combination of freshly picked exotic fruit notes alternating with hints of tertiary aromas. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a full and rounded sip of clear aromatic imprint, characterised by a taste that moves with great harmony. An absolute top label from the Aimé Stentz cellar, perfect for gifting to friends who want to try their hand at a great French Alsace white.
