The Greco di Tufo “Goleto” Riserva is a white wine from Tenute Capaldo that pays homage to the Abbey of Goleto and the nearby sulfur mines, symbolic places of Irpinia. The Greco grapes come from selected vineyards in the Tufo areas, on soils responsible for the wine's pronounced mineral profile. Fermented in steel, it then matures in wood, partly in amphora and finally in bottle. On the nose, white flowers, yellow fruit, and iodized hints emerge, while on the palate it is fresh, elegant, and distinctly savory on the finish. A complex wine, to be paired with flavorful fish dishes.
