The Grenache in purity "Barrique is (almost) dead" from Tenuta Saiano is an intriguing Romagna red. The grapes undergo soft pressing before being macerated whole for 25 days and spontaneously fermented. After 12 months in barrique, it releases sharp notes of red fruit, intense spicy hints, and aromas of underbrush.
