Perfect to drink every day"Il Vispo" from the La Magia estate is a pure Sangiovese with a lively and playful character but with a strong personality, just like the style of Banksy that the winery pays tribute to on the label. The bouquet is composed of aromas of red fruits, sour cherry, orange, and fragrant flowers, with delicate vegetal nuances on the finish. On the palate, it is a fine blend of freshness and savoriness that makes the sip pleasant and very smooth.
“Il Vispo”, produced by Fattoria La Màgia, is a fragrant and fresh red, which enhances the fruity aromas typical of the aromatic profile of Sangiovese. The excellent quality of the grapes from Montalcino, which always guarantee intensity and elegance, and a winemaking inspired by the Beaujolais style, give the wine an immediate expressive pleasantness, resulting in an easy and satisfying drink. The aging only in steel helps to keep in the foreground the lively personality of a young and crunchy Sangiovese. Due to its particular characteristics, it is a bottle that has extraordinary versatility at the table. It pairs very well with tomato pasta, pasta with meat sauces, or with roasted poultry or white meats.
The wine “Il Vispo” is born in an estate in Montalcino that has embraced the philosophy of organic cultivation for many years, with particular attention to all aspects of corporate sustainability, starting from the use of only renewable energies. La Màgia cultivates about 15 hectares, consolidated in a single large plot, in the splendid area above the Abbey of Sant’Antimo. The Sangiovese vineyards have an average age of 15-20 years and are located on the southeast side of the famous hill of Montalcino at an altitude between 400 and 450 meters above sea level. The soils are rich in skeleton and characterized by the presence of a superficial layer of sandy matrix, which rests on clayey substrates, retaining moisture and providing a good water reserve even during dry periods. The harvest takes place in the second half of September and the selected bunches in the vineyard undergo winemaking with cold carbonic maceration, which allows preserving the youthful integrity of the fruity aromas with minimal extraction of tannins. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.
