The "Villa Angela" is a Lacrima di Morro d'Alba of great freshness and simplicity that, with the only refinement in steel, reveals all the fruity and floral fragrance of this ancient variety of Marche. Aromas of cherry and strawberry are the frame of sensations of rose and vegetal nuances. The sip shows a thin and light texture, crossed by a young tannin and light aromatic scents

The Lacrima di Morro d’Alba “Villa Angela” by Velenosi is a red wine from the Marche region with a unique and very characteristic profile. It is produced with the Lacrima grape in purity. This is an ancient indigenous variety of red berry cultivated only in the small area around the municipality of Morro d’Alba. It is an unmistakable wine, characterized by enticing floral and fruity aromas, very intense and aromatic. The vinification exclusively in steel preserves the fragrant varietal notes intact, offering a seductive and unforgettable sip. It is an absolute top label, to be counted among the best interpretations of this particular and rare grape variety.

The red “Villa Angela” Velenosi is a wine with a distinctive face and decidedly territorial. A true rarity that the winery in Ascoli Piceno absolutely wanted to produce to give voice to one of the most characteristic and personality-rich grape varieties of the Marche territory. Velenosi is, in fact, a symbol of wine from the Marche and in its range seeks to give space to all the varieties traditionally cultivated in the territory, both white and red berries. The grapes of “Querciantica” come from a vineyard located in the municipality of San Marcello, in the province of Ancona at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level, on soils predominantly composed of clay. The harvest usually takes place at the end of September and the grapes are further selected at the winery before the start of the vinification process.

The “Villa Angela” Lacrima di Morro d’Alba by Velenosi is produced with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and with a maceration on the skins of 20 days. Before being bottled, the wine rests for a few months in steel tanks. In the glass, it has a ruby red color with purple reflections. The bouquet offers fragrant aromas of rose, violet, strawberry, cherry, small red berry fruits, and slight spicy nuances. On the palate, it is fruity, with a soft and enticing entry, an elegant tannic texture, and a harmonious finish that returns to floral sensations.floral.
