Lambrusco di Sorbara 'Quercioli' Ermete Medici
The Lambrusco Quercioli of Ermete Medici is a selection of the clearest and finest of Lambrusco, that of Sorbara. Grown in the north of Modena, these grapes give life to a lively wine that's easy and pleasant to drink. The grapes, generally earlier than other varieties, are harvested towards the end of September and vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The secondary fermentation occurs directly in the bottle, according to the ancestral method, and the wine retains a pleasant residual sugar of 12 grams per liter, while remaining dry on the palate.
The Lambrusco di Sorbara “Quercioli” vinified by Ermete Medici presents the graceful appearance typical of this variety: a lively light red color, almost more comparable to a particularly deep rosé. The immediate aromas are pleasant and lively: the fruity notes, which include all the berries and the crunchy apple, blend with floral hints of violet, with touches of orange and pomegranate.
