Lezèr' Foradori 2024
ArtisanalThe "Lezèr" by Foradori is a red dressed as a rosé from Teroldego grapes, born from a blend of 10 winemaking trials in amphora, wood, steel, and cement. It is a "snack wine" that, with its fragrant and fruity aromas and its thirst-quenching and very fresh taste, perfectly accompanies a platter of cold cuts and cured meats.
The Lezèr by Foradori is a juicy and fun rosé made from Teroldego, the latest creation from one of the wineries that have made the history of artisanal wine. A splendid new entry, in an approachable and surprising version, which re-evaluates the versatility of Teroldego, previously used only for vigorous reds suitable for aging. An idea born from the indomitable desire for experimentation at Foradori, inherent in Elisabetta first, and now in Emilio, to whom the helm of the winery has been definitively passed. The stewardship of the land, as a core principle, in a work aimed at accompanying the grape in its transformation into liquid, without overpowering it. No selected yeasts, no chemical or synthetic substances, for exciting wines, faithful readers of vintage and area. It aims to become the quintessential everyday bottle. Beware of the "dangerous" drinkability!
The Lezèr rosé is obtained from pure Teroldego grapes, coming from 30-year-old vines cultivated with the typical local system, namely the Trentino pergola. The liquid comes from a blend of ten different winemaking trials, which are obtained from light maceration in different containers such as amphorae, wood, steel, and cement. Healthy grapes, coming from a viticulture that follows many principles of biodynamics, precede a minimally invasive vinification, with spontaneous fermentation and aging in cement tanks for 4 months. No clarification or filtration.
The Lezèr wine presents itself in the glass with an inviting intense pink hue tending towards violet. An extremely fragrant and cheerful nose, a true squeeze of wild strawberries and raspberries left to macerate with spices in infusion. Then more bunches of red and purple flowers, intoxicating. An irresistible profile that loudly calls for a sip. The tasting reveals a liquid entirely played on freshness and drinkability, with a simplicity that is never trivial and always satisfying. The spices and the myriad of red fruits return, and the bottle, which seems to contain almost a fruit juice, finishes almost immediately. An adequate stock is recommended!
