The Luberon "Alphonse" is a rich and warm red wine from the Rhône Valley made from Syrah and Grenache grapes. It is aged for 16 months in oak barrels and cement tanks, expressing notes of dark fruit, sweet spices, hints of toasting, and cocoa on the nose. The palate is broad and rich, with great intensity and complexity, finishing with long persistence.
