MANZONI BIANCO COLLI TREVIGIANI GREGOLETTO DESCRIPTION

Gregoletto´s Manzoni Bianco Colli Trevigiani is a label made to highlight the best qualities of a grape variety capable of expressing wines of extraordinary finesse, freshness and elegance. It is a variety created by Luigi Manzoni in Conegliano Veneto's Istituto Agrario during the 1930s by crossing Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco. It is a white that perfectly expresses the spirit of the winery, which has always been committed not only to the production of Prosecco but also to the preservation and enhancement of the other traditional wines of the Treviso area.

Colli Trevigiani Manzoni Bianco comes from one of the oldest estates in the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene area. The Gregoletto winery is located in Premaor di Miane, manages around 20 hectares and produces wines in the great tradition of the area. The Manzoni Bianco grapes come from the best hillside areas of the Marca Trevigiana. Harvesting is done manually with picking in small boxes to avoid damaging the integrity of the grapes. The bunches selected in the vineyard are pressed very softly and the free-run must is started for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine matures for several months in steel tanks to preserve the delicacy and aromatic fragrance typical of the grape variety.

Manzoni Bianco Colli Trevigiani from the Gregoletto winery is a dry wine with a strong personality, very suitable for pairing with appetizers, seafood and vegetable risottos, fish and noble meats. In the glass it has a light straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Refined and elegant, it expresses a bouquet marked by floral scents of orange blossom and acacia flowers, aromas of white-fleshed fruit, apple, pear, cartucciaro melon, white peach, delicate hints of medicinal herbs. Taut and vertical, on the palate it's characterized by delicate and harmonious fruity notes, slightly aromatic, with a savory and very fresh finish. Excellent to drink young, it has good aging potential, with evolutions toward clear mineral notes.
