The Merlot "Quercegobbe" from the Petra winery is a vigorous yet balanced Tuscan red with the soul of Bordeaux. The grapes come from the Quercegobbe area, from which it takes its name, characterized by an ideal climate for the growth of the varietal. The aging in wood gives the wine, in addition to an intense ruby red color, a complex olfactory profile: aromas of red berry fruits reminiscent of sour cherries are released, and a toasting that evokes sweet spices is perceived. The taste is rich, full, bold with elegant tannins and a long finish.
