Mezcal 'Tamaulipas' Darrumbes

Derrumbes' Mezcal 'Tamaulipas' is a rare and precious distillate that originates in a little-known territory, very complex for geographical and social reasons. It is born from the mind and hands of master mezcalero Cuauhtémoc Jaquez, who composes a ‘symphony’ in three endemic agaves: Funkiana, Univittata and Americana. On the nose, it is surprising for its bold and peppery character, with hints of green pepper and even sweet mustard. On the palate it is vegetal and intense, amiable at first, then it evolves in a very broad, rich finish. An energetic tale of a unique and wild territory
