Jean Yves Peron's Mondeuse "Champ Levat" is a red wine able to show how mild and delicate wines can surprise with their complexity. A mountain red produced in Haute-Savoie from one of the most distinctive local grape varieties, the Mondeuse. On the nose, in addition to the typical hints of red fruits, there are intriguing, fine spicy notes and hints of mint. Very fresh, highly aromatic and pleasantly balsamic on the finish, the sip is fine and silky. A versatile wine, excellent to sip in company with a mountain cheese board
