The Montefalco Rosso "Boccatone" is an intense and powerful wine made from Sangiovese, Barbera, and Sagrantino grapes, aged in large barrels and barriques for 18 months. It expresses fruity, spicy, and woodland tones, with hints of licorice and roots. The sip is full-bodied and structured, with good tannins.
